On May 25th 2016 Boo exited stage left for the last time. Born in DC on June 9th 1972 to Ramon “Val” Valdez and Nola Valdez-Cook. Boo worked extremely hard starting at the age 10 beginning his career in the restaurant industry as a dishwasher at his mother’s VFW. Also worked as a cable dog, and extensively in the music industry. Touring with Jepetto, Lolapalooza, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Nils Lofgren, All That Remains, and Toto. In addition to all of his many talents, he was an ordained minister that married more than a few of our close friends. He loved being on the water. A paddle in his hand made him very happy. He played steel drums and sang vocals in the band Atomic Brown. He enjoyed quality time with his canine son, Dr. Stevin Valdez “Doc”. Not only did he run the show he enjoyed going to a show. Boo never met a stranger in his life and those that he touched knew they were loved. He had an infectious laugh that anyone could pick out from across a crowded room. As Boo is now our guardian angel and we know he is watching over all of us, especially his mother Nola Valdez-Cook, his wife Brandy Lynn Valdez, his oldest sister Lisa Prather, his brother Mike Valdez, his brother and sister-in-law Joe and Donna Valdez, his sisters Ashley and Kelly Valdez, his sister Christa Smith, his brother and sister-in-law Jeremy and Lisa Cook, his brother Jeff Cook, his sister Crystal McMullen, his in-laws April and Dan Bright, and his sister-in-law Crystal Folmer. The show must go on.
