Ramona Hansley Britt

Ramona H. Britt (90), passed into the loving arms of Jesus on Saturday, March 18th, 2023,
in Summerville, South Carolina, after a brief illness. She was born November 30, 1932, in
North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her Mother, Mary Hansley, her sisters
Barbara and Marilyn and by her son, Stephen, and grandaughter, Nicole. She is survived

by her son, Jimmy, grandson TJ and great-grandsons, Chase and Desmond, and great-
granddaughter Sierra. She worked as a patent secretary at Cushman, Darby & Cushman in

Washington, D.C. for many years. She formerly lived in Laurel, MD. and spent much of
her time at the Laurel Senior Center, making new friends.
She had a passion for adventure, always on the go, even a call at the last minute, she said
yes! Never pass up an opportunity she would say. She was a dear friend who supported
you through the good times as well as the difficult times. Always so thoughtful and caring
of others. She will be missed by all who knew her.
A beautiful soul has departed and is now in God's eternal embrace.
A service will be held at the Lee Funeral Home, Clinton, MD. at 11 a.m. on Friday, March
31, 2023, with burial at 1.
