Randolph W. Muse

Randolph Walter Muse, age 93, Randolph W. Muse, the beloved son of the late Mintry and Marie Muse, was born on June, 7, 1921 in The Plains, Virginia. On Saturday, November 1st , 2014 God dispatched an angel to his bedside to have him come home to his eternal resting place in Heaven. Randolph (Randy) was married to the late Ruth E. Muse. He was an active member of Salem Baptist Church, Marshall, Va. He was baptized by the late Rev. Sherman Phillips in the early 1930’s. After graduating from Manassas Industrial High School, Randy went to serve in The U. S. Army in 1942 and was discharged in December 1945. He was later employed by the Federal Government where he retired from the Department of the Treasury in 1977 after thirty five years of service. Randy and Ruthie enjoyed travelling with the CC Travel Club. Randy was very soft spoken and was appreciated by all for his donations to many organizations. He enjoyed, as a hobby, collecting model trains and cars and didn’t miss many car shows. He was loved by family and friends. A special appreciation to his niece Claudia Wilson who was a tremendous help in transporting him to doctor’s offices at Providence Hospital; leaving her job to go and monitor his care. He enjoyed his last days at the Henson Creek Assisted Living Facility in Temple Hills, Md., he loved playing bingo there. He leaves to morn his brother, Mintry R. Muse (Joan) of Temple Hills, Md.; sister, Geneva M. Feemster (Everett) of Marshall, Virginia; two sister in laws, Adele Easley, Washington, DC and Joan Muse, Temple Hills, MD one brother in law, Everett T. Feemster, Marshall, Va., a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
