Rheta L. Suit

Rheta L. Suit of Upper Marlboro, MD, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at the age of 67. She was born on September 4, 1949, in Washington, DC, to Margaret Mary (Carman) and Millard Emil Garbinski. Rheta was a former government employee for a number of years. Rheta enjoyed doing needlepoint, shopping for antiques and was an avid reader. She spent many years caring for her parents in their golden years. She was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Upper Marlboro, where she was very active and had a great love for her faith and the church she attended. Rheta was the loving mother of Tammy, Valerie and Jodie and the grandmother of six grandchildren. She was the sister of Mary, Linda, Janet and Millard and is also survived my many other relatives and friends. Family invites friends to St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 14908 Main Street, Upper Marlboro, MD 20772, on Tuesday, August 8th from 10 am until start of the Mass of Christian Burial at 12 pm. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 8000 Woodyard Road, Clinton, MD 20735. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Rheta’s name to St. Mary of the Assumption Building Fund, 14908 Main Street, Upper Marlboro, MD 20772.
