Richard Anthony Bolton III, 52,\n died suddenly on Nov 11, 2011. Born June 3, 1959, he grew up in Upper Marlboro. As an adult he lived in Baltimore, MD; Sydney and Melbourne, Australia; and most recently in Palm Springs, CA.\n He was the son of Richard A. Bolton and Marian L. Bolton (Wallace) of Upper Marlboro.\n After a career in Real Estate in the 1980’s; Richard changed his career to the education of the profoundly disabled for over twenty years. It was in teaching that his greatest assets were best used.\n \nIn addition to his parents, Richard is survived by his partner of over 30 years Joel Reachard. He is also survived by his sister Marian and her husband Thomas Brewer; his sister Victoria, her husband Michael Netzer; his brother Thomas and his wife Teresa; his brother Michael and his wife Merrily; and his brother Edward and his wife Lisa. He was a loving uncle to Thomas, Erin and Megan Brewer; Austin and Garrett Bolton; Cara and Melissa Netzer; and Alyssa, Emily and Lindsay Bolton.\n \nKept in the hearts of family and friends across the country and around the world; he lives on.\n \nServices will be held at Lee Funeral Home in Clinton, MD. Visitation is from 11 to 1 on Saturday, Nov 19, 2011. A service will follow at 1 o’clock. Burial follows immediately at St. Thomas Church Croom, MD.
