Richard Frank Galentine“Ricky” On March 28, 2009, Ricky was killed in a tragic automobile accident. He was the beloved son of Theresa M. Hook and Richard J. Galentine. He is survived by his loving sisters, Andrea Galentine, Suzanne Galentine, Victoria Hook and Olivia Hook; maternal grandparents, Frank and Frances Ricco; paternal grandparents, Clarence and Helen Galentine. He was the loving nephew of Vickie and Vernon Futrell; Ellen Weisbrod; Ronald Galentine, Scott and Penny Galentine; Tina and Skip Swann; and Carol D. Ursin. He was the step son of Jason P. Hook and Patricia Galentine and the step-brother of Demetrious Shizas, Maria Shizas, Jason P. Hook II and Trevor Hook. He has a host of loving cousins, great aunts and uncles and numerous friends. He was born in Washington Hospital Center on March 25, 1988. He lived in Waldorf, Edgewater and Mechanicsville, Maryland. He worked for the Prince Georges County Parks and Planning and the Wawa in Charlotte Hall, Maryland. Ricky loved animals and had hoped to attend college to become a zoologist. He liked swimming, skateboarding and karate. Attending The Washington Capitals Hockey games with his best friend Mike Bennett was his passion. A natural born comedian, who enjoyed making people laugh, he was inspired by Jim Carrey. He was a kind and loving young man who will be dearly missed by everyone.
