Richard Abraham Hartfield

Richard A. Hartfield\n \n Richard A. Hartfield (age 78) passed away peacefully on March 13, 2010. Beloved husband of the late Patricia Ann Hartfield. He is survived by daughters Nancy Hartfield Brotzman, Kathy Hartfield Lowe and Linda Hartfield Baxter. He is also survived by wife Roanne Dahlen Hartfield and her children Garth Dahlen, Todd Dahlen and Tara Dahlen McQuaid and 12 grandchildren. \n Dick was born in Bound Brook, New Jersey in 1931. He graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York in 1953. Dick retired from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission in 1997 with 33 years of government service. He recently resided at Collington Life Care Community in Mitchellville, MD where he was well loved by all. His kindness and good humor will be missed by everyone who knew him. \n Services will be held on March 20, 2010 at 2 pm at All Saints Lutheran Church, 16510 Mount Oak Road, Bowie, MD 20716. Refreshments and gathering with the family to follow the service.
