Richard Alphonso McCoy Jr.

Richard Alphonso McCoy, Jr, was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on February 24, 1968. He departed this life on

 Saturday, June 4, 2022.  God sent his angels to him and quietly took him to glory.

Richard was educated in the Prince Georges County Public School System and graduated from Potomac High School in June 1987. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard A. McCoy, Sr. and his son, Re’Shon Malik McCoy.  Richard is survived by his loving mother, Ida M. McCoy; sisters, Rachel D. McCoy, Kimberly McCoy and brother, Timothy McCoy. Richard leaves behind his special friend, Pam Thomas.

The family will receive friends at Lee Funeral Home, 6633 Old Alexandria Ferry Road, Clinton, MD on Thursday, June 16^th from 4pm to 7pm. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 17^th at 11am.
