Richard E. Sebastian

January 26, 1929 — February 22, 2013

On Friday, February 22, 2013, Dick passed away peacefully at his home in Accokeek, MD. He is survived by his loving wife, Lori; son Rick (Carol) Sebastian of Elko, NV; stepson Jason Rasmussen of San Jose, CA; two grandsons Justin Sebastian and Dane Rasmussen and his mother-in-law Marion Fonseca.Dick is a native Washingtonian. He loved the water and spent his military service in the Navy. For many years of his life he owned a boat but wasn't much of a fisherman. He often said the price he paid for fish was in the thousands of dollars. Dick was a scuba diver and took many advanced classes, attaining the designation of Dive Instructor. He also loved his critters, anywhere he went so did they. After retiring, he enjoyed woodworking and became rather skilled. He was proud to have joined the Masons and then the Eastern Star. Membership in the Star was probably so he could keep up with his wife, who was very active at that time.Viewing will be held at Lee Funeral Home, Inc. Clinton, MD on Wednesday, February 27 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. with Masonic Services held at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, family is requesting memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association P.O.
