Robert Williamson Boteler 1933- 2014Robert Williamson Boteler, 81, formerly of Clinton, Maryland, died peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, December 23, 2014, in Laurel, Maryland. He was born to the late Robert Edward Boteler and the late Dorothy Amelia (Hoffman) Boteler in Washington, D.C. on June 27, 1933. Robert was in the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1963; after serving in the Army he worked at the Department of State as a Diplomatic Security Officer until his retirement in 1986. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and bowling. Robert is survived by his wife of 48 years, Thelma G. Boteler, 4 sister-in-laws and various nieces, nephews, and cousins.
