ROBERT E. BURNS (Age 93)On February 10, 2007, ROBERT E. BURNS, of Washington, DC, died peacefully with his family. Beloved husband of the late Mildred Elizabeth James Burns; devoted and loving father of Mary Beth Burns and Christine S. Proctor; father in-law to Brian Proctor. He is also survived by his caring niece, Beverly Greenway and his faithful friend "Katie".Mr. Burns served his community as a 27 year Veteran of the Washington DC Fire Department. Family invites friends Tuesday, February 13, to the LEE FUNERAL HOME, INC., Branch Ave. and Conventry Way, Clinton, MD, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Service will be held Wednesday, February 14 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at the Cedar Hill Cemetery.
