Robert William Duckett, of Clinton, MD passed on March 11, 2020 at the age of 91 years. Born January 11, 1929 in Prince George's county to Richard and Margaret Duckett. Robert attended Prince Georges county schools and was inducted into the United States Army. He served in the Korean War in combat. Robert retired from Capital Beverage Company as a long distance tractor trailer driver. Robert was a devoted and protective father, grandfather and friend. He enjoyed hunting, cooking, playing cards, listening to oldies but goodies music and dancing. He loved to watch Amos & Andy shows and being with family and friends. He leaves to mourn his children Carolyn Jones (Robert), Robert W. Duckett Jr., Sheila Campbell (Samuel) and Barbara Duckett; his brothers Raymond Duckett, Lansdale Duckett and sister Mary E. Johnson; one son-in-law Lonnie Nelson; two sister-in-laws Manerva Duckett and Katie Duckett; also survived by a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Richard and Margaret Duckett, Robert was also preceded in death by his daughter, Patricia A. Nelson, son Patrick Early; five brothers Charles, John Frances, James, Sonny, and James (Jimmie) Duckett; and three sisters, Maggie Cole, Marie Johnson, and Arlene Johnson; two sister-in-laws Matilda Duckett and Helen Duckett; four brother-in-laws Otis Johnson, Willie Johnson, Freddie Cole, and Preston Johnson.
