Robert F. McCarthy

Robert F. McCarthy 1930-2014 Robert F. McCarthy, 84, of Upper Marlboro, MD on Tuesday April 1, 2014 in Annandale, VA. Born in Washington, DC he was a son of the late John J. and Mary M. (O'Dea) McCarthy. He was a veteran having served in the United States Coast Guard. He was a plumber by trade and a member of the Plumbers and Gas Fitters Union, Local #5. He was a sports fan who enjoyed all sports especially following his Boston Celtics. He is survived by four children; Diane Clarke (Mark Muratori), Robert, Edward, and Joseph (Patty) McCarthy, eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
