Robert Franklin Warren, Sr.

Robert F. Warren, Sr. (Age 90) Of LaPlata, MD died on January 2, 2005 at his home. Mr. Warren was born in Iberis, Lancaster County, Virginia on February 22, 1914. In 1931, Mr. Warren moved to Washington, D.C. and went to work for the Auth Provision Co. and subsequently the American Store Grocery Co. and the Naval Air Station. In 1946, Mr. Warren went to work for the Sun Life Insurance Company for 30 years. He also built homes and bought and sold real estate. He retired in February 1976. He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years Bertha E. Warren; parents, Samuel W. and Julia E. Warren; sisters, Wanda M. Pugh and Mary J. Warren; brothers Edward W. Sr., Samuel P. and Joseph P. Warren. He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Robert F. and Pamela M. and Ronald J. and Sandra W. Warren; grandchildren, Robin Topoiski, Shellie Leskinen, Renee Stewart, and Stacey DeFranco, 13 great-grandchildren, brothers Milton C. and Julian V. Warren, sister Elizabeth E. Collins.
