Robin Jenkins

Robin Jenkins of Leonardtown, Maryland, departed her life on June 4, 2016 at Georgetown University Hospital, Washington, D.C. with family at her side. Robin was born on July 8, 1971 in Hollywood, Florida. She is the daughter of Effie Lee (Brown) and the late Isaac Jenkins of Holly Hill, South Carolina. She graduated from the Holly Hill, South Carolina Public School system and later attended Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College to study administrative assistance. She was baptized at an early age at Lovely Hill Baptist Church in Holly Hill, S.C. She relocated to the Washington D.C area in 2002, where she devoted many of her years as a caretaker to many families and friends. She was employed by L.T. Services, LLC until she was unable to carry out her work functions and assignments due to her illness. Robin was a very kind and gentle individual who was always willing to give of herself to help others. Robin was a blessing and a gift, and she made an impact on many lives she encountered during her life. Robin is survived by her mother, Effie Lee (Brown) Jenkins of Holly Hill, S.C., her devoted sisters Kathy Jenkins of Irmo, S.C., Carolyn (Ronald) Taylor of Suffolk, Va., Judy (James) Eaton of Accokeek, M.D., Ivy Lynn Jenkins of Columbia, S.C., and her brother Stanley Jenkins of Holly Hill, S.C.; several nieces and nephews; Jeremy Jenkins, Jonathan Taylor, Alicia Taylor, Alexis Taylor and Jada Eaton, and a host of family (aunts, uncles and cousins) and friends, and a special friend, Paul Carroll.
