Rodney Jay Bullock, Sr., 57, of Ft. Washington, MD passed away unexpectedly on May 6, 2017. He was born in Washington, D.C. to the late Mary Rita (Armstrong) Bullock and Jay Bullock. He attended and graduated from Spingarn High School in Northeast D.C. class of 1978. Rodney sang in a band from 1979-1981 and practiced the martial art of Jeet Kune Do. He met his loving wife, Joanne Taylor in 1977, married her in 1985 and celebrated 32 years with her. In addition to spending time with his family, he loved restoring classic cars. His dream car was a green and white 1955 Chevy Bel Air. In addition to this car, he restored nine other classic cars ranging from years 1940 to 1978. He loved to attend car shows. Rodney is survived by his beloved wife, Joanne Bullock; two adoring children, Rodney Jay Bullock, Jr. of Richmond, VA., and Jeanee Bullock of Ft. Washington, MD; one dear brother, Michael Bullock of Washington, D.C; as well as a host of nieces and nephews and a myriad of friends he made through his life.
