Rodney Andrew McDaniel

Rodney Andrew McDaniel 1945 - 2014 Rodney Andrew McDaniel, 69, of Upper Marlboro, MD passed away on Tuesday July 1, 2014 at his home in Upper Marlboro, MD surrounded by his loving family. Born in North Salem, IN he was a son of the late James W. and Melvina F. (Cohee) McDaniel. He was married to the former Sheila K. (Ryan) McDaniel. They celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary on December 17, 2013. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force having served for over 22 years. At the time of his retirement in 1985 he was a Telecommunications Operations Supervisor. Rodney enjoyed fishing, was a devoted Chicago Bears fan, liked to watch NASCAR, spend time with his family bowling, and watching movies, and reading and collecting comic books. Along with his wife Sheila he is survived by two children, Lonny B. and Tonya L. McDaniel, three grandchildren, Nicholas D. McDaniel, Shannon Wallace-McDaniel, and Alicia Wallace-McDaniel, and a brother Randy F. McDaniel.
