Romeo Gonzaga DelRosario

Romeo G. DelRosario, 74, of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, passed away on March 9, 2020. Romeo was born in Taytay, Rizal, Philippines, on Jun 7, 1945 to the late Delfin delRosario and the late Teofista Gonzaga. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings including Juliana, Norma, Delfin Jr., Pedro, Bienvenido, and Felisa. He is survived by his wife, Betty; his sons, Romeo and Rey; daughter-in-law, Aileen; grandchildren, Oliver, Ethan, and Charlotte; and brothers, Alfredo and Cristeo. Romeo was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He worked as an accountant for more than 40 years, serving the oil industry and District of Columbia Public Schools. He cherished the fellowship of the St. John’s Family Rosary Crusade and the Family Devotion to the Nazarene. He also enjoyed rooting for all of the local sports teams, particularly the Redskins.
