Ronald Arthur Hovey

Ronald Arthur Hovey, 85, of Upper Marlboro, MD passed away on November 6, 2016. Ronald was born on January 19, 1931 in Michigan to the late Earl Hovey and Leah Hovey. Ronald retired from the United States Army after 20 years of service at the rank of Staff Sergeant. He enjoyed being with his Family, and watching T.V., especially Western’s. Ronald is predeceased by his Parents, and Wife, Terry Hovey. Ronald is survived by his Daughters, Marie L. Hovey (James), and Kathleen Cogar (James, Sr.). Siblings, Francis Hovey, and Bernice Harring. 3 Grandchildren, David Steele, Jamie Cogar, and Dustin Linkins. 3 Great-Grandchildren, Abigail, Liam, and Adalynn. A viewing will take place on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at the Lee Funeral Home, Inc. 6633 Old Alexandria Ferry Road, Clinton, MD 20735. A Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at 1 pm at the Funeral Home. Rev. James Chance will officiate. Interment will follow at Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery in Cheltenham, MD.
