Ronald Paul Kronk

Ronald Paul Kronk, “Ron” of Deale, MD., unexpectedly passed away on November 5, 2024, at the age of 77. Ron was born in Crucible, PA to the late Kenneth Kerfoot Kronk and Pauline Block Kronk. After his parents death, Ron and his brother Jack were raised by their older sister Patty in Beltsville, MD. He attended High Point High School, class of 1966, and went to work for the United States Postal Service. He then began his career as a Local #5 Iron Worker, where he was a lifetime honorary member. He fully retired in 2022 and was finally able to enjoy his life living on the water.

Ron is survived by his one and only son Kenneth Kerfoot Kronk of Deale, MD. He is also survived by Joy Neary, his former wife and mother of his son, his grandchildren Gianna Nicole, Mia Danielle and Dominic Ryan Kronk, his stepdaughters Kelly Neary (Miguel), Keri Cutler (Jamie), his step grandchildren Louizza (Malik), Kerstin, Mickey, Lilliana, Elias, Ayden, and Sean, his nieces Kim Swann (Freddie), and Maggie Williford. Besides his parents, Ron was also preceded in death by his sisters Patricia Buckley and Margo Kopf, and his niece Karen Walters.

Ron’s hobbies included spending time with his family and friends. He really enjoyed spoiling his grandchildren, family gatherings, staying busy with home improvements, traveling, crabbing with the grandkids, camping at the lake, and cooking for the family. In his younger days he enjoyed riding his Harley, jumping out of airplanes and going to the beach.

Ron leaves behind a legacy of strong values, hard work, and loyalty. He will be terribly missed and always remembered.

In honor of Ron’s life, the family asks that, in his memory, friends raise a can of Natural Light, share a laugh, and remember the good times spent together.

Family will be welcoming friends at a memorial service Saturday December 14, 2024, at Dockside Restaurant 421 Deale Road, Tracys Landing, MD at 4pm.
