Roscoe "Bud" H. Price, Jr.

Roscoe H. Price, Jr. “Bud”68, owner and operator of Price Oil Company of Clinton, MD died at home, surrounded by his family on July 8, 2015.Born in Fauquier County, VA, he is the son of the late Margaret E. (Wilkie) Price and Roscoe Howard Price.Roscoe lived in Fauquier, VA during his youth. After graduation from high school, he enlisted in the US ARMY in 1963 at the age of 17. After serving a term of 3 years he was honorably discharged, earning the parachutist badge, also commonly referred to as "Jump Wings". It signifies that the soldier is a trained military parachutist and is qualified to participate in airborne operations. He was also awarded the National Defense Service and Good Conduct Medals.Beloved husband of Mary E. (Gilmore) Price; devoted father of Roscoe H. Price III, and wife Jackie of Prince Frederick, MD, Cliffie Price and wife Bonnie of St. Leonard, MD, Tonya Suchter of Prince Frederick, MD, Mary Margaret Price, Anita Price, Amber Price and April Price all of Clinton, MD; dear brother of Margaret “Ann” Boggs of Front Royal, VA, Jaunita White of Williamsburg, VA, Tom Price of Bardstown, KY and Sue Burgess of Haymarket, VA; loving grandfather of Victoria, Valerie, Elizabeth, Morgan, Ely, Erynn, Ian, Tiffany, Felicia, Charles, Kristine, Jessica, Trevor and Alyssa “Lu-Lu”; great-grandfather of Hailey, Landon, Devon, Cameron, Aubrey, Eowyn, Shelby, Shawna and one on the way. Also survived by many extended family and friends and his four-legged sweetie girl, Sassy.In addition to his parents, Roscoe was predeceased by his first wife, the late Betty Jean Price and his son, the late Howard Dakota Price.
