Rose Marie Harris

On May 24, 2021, the beloved Rose Marie Harris of Lusby, MD (formerly of Davidsonville and Mitchellville, MD) passed on. The wife of the late Stanley Harris (aka Plug), mother of Stanley David Harris Sr. of Lusby, MD, Michael O'Brian Harris of Lothian, MD, Robert Lee Harris of Beltsville, MD, Charles R. Harris of Lusby, MD, Jeffery Alan Harris, Sr. Of Davidsonville, MD, and Ronald Wayne Harris of Stevensville, MD. Rose was the mother-in-law to Julie L. Harris (McQuinn), Karen L. Harris (Ridgely), Sharon A. Harris (Sturgess), Misty Harris (Albert), Mary M. Harris (Carrick), and had 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Rose spent her life as a housewife taking care of her husband, children, and family. Rose enjoyed bluegrass and country music, watching the Redskins and Nationals sports teams, bowling, and cooking. Rose enjoyed spending time with her friends, neighbors, and doing puzzles. We will all miss her but will never forget her love. The family of Rose Harris are thankful to the many first responders that assisted the family throughout the years. The family will receive friends at Lee Funeral Home Calvert, 8200 Jennifer Lane, Owings, MD 20736 on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at 9:30 AM in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Lakemont Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 900 West Central Avenue, Davidsonville, MD 21035. Donations be made in her honor to your local fire/police department.
