Rose Mary Martin

Rose Mary Martin, of Temple Hills, MD passed on March 6, 2018 at the age of 74. Born in Washington, DC the daughter of Rose Margaret Harrison Vance and Nelson Carr Vance. Rose Mary married Clarence C. Martin, Jr. on October 11, 1975. They celebrated 42 years of marriage this past October. Rose Mary was a reading specialist for Prince George’s county schools. An enthusiasts for doing crafts, particularly rubber stamping and sewing. She was smart, loving and kind. Rose Mary was a remarkable woman with a big heart, and infectious smile and energy, and she made lasting impressions and friendships wherever she went. Beloved wife of Clarence C. Martin, Jr.; dear step-mother of Bonnie Lee Schermer (Gordon) of Indiana; devoted aunt of Vicki M. Augustine of Eldersburg, MD and great-aunt of Michael Augustine, Ashley Walker and Samantha Jordan. In addition to her parents, Rose Mary was pre-deceased by her brothers the late Nelson Vance and the late William T. Vance.
