Roy B. Curl, Jr.

Roy Burnwood Curl, Jr., 80, of Huntingtown, MD passed away on July 21, 2021 in Prince Frederick, MD. Born on February 5, 1941 in Riverdale, MD he was the son of the late Helen E. Wood Curl and Roy B. Curl, Sr. He is survived by his sisters; Joe Anne Shumaker and Donna Lee Grisso (Daniel). Nephews; Rick Curl, Jr. and Daniel Grisso Jr. (Allison). Nieces; Patrice Sweeney (Christen) and Tiffany Khan (Eric). Grandnieces; Savanna Murphy, Iris Danielle Khan, Alexis Sweeney, Brooke Sweeney, Peyton Curl and Brittany Curl. Roy is preceded in death by his brother, Richard A. Curl, Sr. and his niece, Courtney Curl. Roy attended Highpoint High School in Beltsville, MD. He was the Comptroller for Southland and retired from Safeway after working in the Deli Department for many years. Roy loved fried chicken, country music, cruising in his car, enjoyed bowling and was a member of the Elks Lodge in Riverdale, MD. He especially loved spending time with family and friends.
