RUBY JANE BURCHAM SHARPE (83) On November 19, 2007 in Columbia, MD. She was born April 30, 1924 in Elkin, NC to Margaret Poplin and John Bartlett Burchman, Sr. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Mabel Newman and Mary Holocomb; a brother, Joseph Burcham; a niece and three nephews. She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Jody Gibson and a son, Russ (Shirley) Sharpe; two sisters and three brothers, Lorene Burcham Cox of Oakland City, IN, Robert Poplin Burcham of Columbia, MD, James Samuel (Christina) Burcham, Sr. of Davidsonville, MD, Kathleen Burcham (Bill) Land of Huntingtown, MD and John (Barltett) Delores Burcham, Jr. of Ocean City, MD; 17 nieces; seven nephews; numerous great-nieces and nephews.
