Ruth Lee Dunnigan

Ruth Lee Dunnigan 1927 - 2013 Ruth Lee Dunnigan, 86, of Temple Hills, MD on Sunday October 27, 2013 at Woodbine Rehabilitation and Health Center, Alexandria, VA. Born in Henderson, NC she was a daughter of the late Rev. John and Bertha (Fuller) Brown. She was married to Robert W. Dunnigan and they celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary on November 22, 2012. She worked for the District of Columbia as a supervisor in the Personnel Management Department. She was an avid sports fan following all sports but she especially liked the Redskins as a season ticket holder for thirty five years, and following Tiger Woods on the golf course. She was also very active in her church as a choir member and soloist as she loved to sing and play the organ as well as the former choir director at Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church. Along with her husband she is survived by five children, Warren Jackson (Deedra), Alicia Dunnigan, Suzette Whyte (Andrew), Kevin Dunnigan, and Soraya Brandon, four grandchildren, and three great grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
