Sandra Romaine Batiste

Sandra(Sandy) was Born March 29th 1966 at Columbia Hospital in Washington DC. Sandy was the oldest child and daughter of James Carroll Hawkins(deceased) and Pearl P. Hawkins. She was raised and educated in Prince George’s County where she graduated in 1984 from Gwynn Park High School. Sandy later furthered her education with an Associates Degree from University of District of Columbia. Sandy married Gregory Marsh I from that union produced the real love of her life son Gregory Reich’e Marsh II. Sandy doted until death about Gregory they loved each other unconditionally. Sandy was classy and meticulous. She had a heart of gold and would give you the shirt off her back. She loved life, family and friends was always willing to lend a helping hand. We called her (mother hen). Sandy always kept GOD in her life attending several churches devoting fully of herself. Sandy shared a special relationship with her aunts who took great care of her in childhood and later in life when her health began to fail. Sandy was a hard worker who always gave 100% to any task. She worked for Dr. William Morris as an medical secretary/accountant at Providence Hospital then moved on to Virginia Beach, VA until her illness required her to semi-retire. After moving back to MD she persevered still determined to fulfil her dream to care for others until her untimely death. Sandy was preceded in death by her father (James); grandparents Roland and Irene Bowie also Inez Hawkins. She leaves in loving memory her son Gregory; mother Pearl P. Hawkins: brother James Ramon(Danna); sister Shonita; brother Rodney; host of Aunt’s: Uncle’s; Nieces; Nephews; Cousins.
