Sandra Marie Brooks

Sandra Marie Brooks, 51, lifelong resident of Cheltenham, MD, passed on August 12, 2015. She was born to the late William Carlton Hicks III and Agnes Irene Hicks on December 6, 1963 in Cheverly, Maryland. Sandra loved gambling. She enjoyed betting on dog races and playing keno at Al’s Diner. She traveled often with her late husband Council “Bo” Brooks. They traveled much of the United States. Sandra collected many souvenirs during her travels. Always getting a magnet from the state she was visiting. Sandra was also a bus aide for the Prince George’s County School system for 30 years. Sandra leaves behind her siblings William Carlton Hicks IV (Jodi) and Joy Hicks. Her nieces Wendy Brooks, Patrice "Twinkie" Gaines, Courtney Gaines, Angela Silver, and nephews Randy King, David King, B.J. Hicks, and Jason Brooks as well as in-laws. Sandra also leaves behind her beloved dog Cody the beagle. She is predeceased by her husband Council “Bo” Brooks, and parents William and Agnes Hicks. Services at a date to be determined.
