Socrates "Socky" Timothy Pappas

Socrates "Socky" Timothy Pappas Socky was born August 13, 1969 in Washington, DC. He lived in Oxon Hill, Clinton, Waldorf and Upper Marlboro, MD. He graduated from Tanglewood Special Center in Clinton, MD. He worked at Southern Maryland Hosptial six years and Mama Stella's Restaurant. Socrates joined Melwood Training Center and worked there for 10 years. He loved music, bowling, swimming, basketball, fishing, going to the movies and taking long walks in the park. He attended St. Theodore's Greek Orthodox Church. He was very friendly, outgoing and loved to be with his friends. He leaves behind his mother, Katherine Pappas, sister Angie Grow, brother John Pappas, nieces Kari Grow and Jennifer Nestor, nephews Ricky Grow, Shawn Breson and Nick Pappas. Predeceased by his father Charles J. Pappas. Friends may call at Lee Funeral Home, Inc. Branch Ave. and Coventry Way Clinton, MD on Sunday, June 26 for 2-4 & 6-8pm where services will be held on Monday, June 27 at 1:30PM.
