Entered into rest on Oct. 29, 2011 in Harwood, MD. Steve served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He is the beloved husband of Bernadette M. Pierce. Loving father of Richard (Zema) Pierce and Bridget (Mark) Gazelle. Grandfather of Zachary and Rachel Gazelle and Yared and Ashley Pierce. Brother of Jeffrey and James Pierce and Karen Gamble. Friends will be received Monday Nov. 7, 2011 at Lee Funeral Home Calvert, P.A. in Owings, MD from 3:00 PM until time of service at 7:00PM. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made in Stephen’s name to: GUH – Movement Disorders Program, Georgetown University Hospital, Dept. of Neurology, 3800 Reservoir Rd, NW, 7phc, Washington D.C. 20007.
