Susan Lynn Kuenzel 1965 - 2015 "TuTu" After nearly a two year battle with cancer, Susan Lynn Kuenzel, also affectionately known as "TuTu" passed away peacefully on February 9, 2015, at her home in Owings, MD. She was 49 years old. She grew up in Bladensburg, MD. She was born in Easton, MD the daughter of Helen Mae Olivia Kuenzel, who preceded her in death in 1994, and Edward Lee Kuenzel of Riverdale, MD. In addition to her father, she is survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Danetta Kuenzel and their son, Landon of Christmas, FL and David and Catherine Kuenzel of Edgewater, MD and their daughters Olivia and Sophia Kuenzel. She is also survived by her best friend of 41 years, Kelli Mulligan, and her children Susie and T.J. Sebastian. She graduated from Bladensburg High School as part of the class of 1983. She had an 18-year career at the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT) in Washington, D.C. While rising to the rank of Assistant Director of Building Support Services, she was near and dear to many of her colleagues. Sue will be remembered for her friendship, humor, strength, and independence. But most of all, she will be remembered for her kindness. She had a great heart and a kind soul. Simply put, she was the best daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital (www.stjude.org) or Calvert County Hospice (www.calverthospice.org).
