Suzanne Marie Domingue McClanahan

Suzanne Domingue McClanahan (54) of Barstow, Maryland. Passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2009 at Anne Arundel Medical Center. She is survived by her loving husband of 20 years John McClanahan, daughter, Shannon Brown Mayforth (Michael), son; Justin Brown (Judith) and step daughters; Erica Lynn Stone (Sean), Ashley McClanahan Tompkins (Gary), Colleen McClanahan, and Tamara McClanahan, father, Jean Domingue, step mother, Carolyn Domingue. Also survived by grandchildren; Gavin Tompkins, Shealyn Stone and Donovan Stone, step sister, Anne Marie Buccheri, step brother Anthony Buccerri (Trish), niece; Heather Buccheri and nephew Brett Buccheri. Preceded in death my her mother, Juanita Domingue.\n \nSuzanne was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. Her motto on life was “I’m going to get older but never grow up.” And she lived her life with that in mind. She loved the holidays, especially Halloween.\n \nSuzanne was a free spirit and an artisan. She loved the arts, and adding blown glass to her “ugly glass collection.” Suzie loved to read, travel, road trip and dine out.\n \nSuzanne worked for the Calvert County Sheriffs Office for twenty two years as a civil process specialist. She was the “mother hen” of the office. She was a trusted confidant to many, a devoted colleague and an integral part of the Sheriffs Office.\n \nSuzanne was to receive her Bachelors of Business Administration form Notre Dame and belonged to their Honors Society.\n \nA memorial gathering will be held at LEE FUNERAL HOME CALVERT, P.A. 8125 Southern Maryland Blvd., Owings, MD 20736 on Monday, September 14, 2009 from 1 to 3 p.m. with memorial service to follow.
