Sylvia Biggs of Fort Washington, MD passed away on January 16, 2021, at the age of 84. She was born in Washington, DC to the late Ernest Edwards and Alice Fisher on August 24, 1936. Sylvia graduated from Oxon Hill High School in 1954. The beloved wife of the late Robert (Bob) Biggs. Sylvia is survived by her son, Robert Craig Biggs and his wife, Donna, devoted grandmother of Bobby, Michael, and Jennifer, and great-grandmother of Brantley, Raelynn, Alexa, Bobby, and Emma. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Dorothy Bush and her husband, Darrell. She was a dedicated and loving housewife and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Later in life Sylvia went back to work as a medical transcriptionist. She thoroughly enjoyed her work and continued working as a transcriptionist for over 25 years. Sylvia enjoyed cooking, baking, collecting antiques and canning. She especially enjoyed watching her Washington Redskins play football, eating steamed crabs, and spending time visiting with her family and friends. Sylvia will always be remembered for her “famous” sugar cookies and all the love and joy they brought to everyone. We will miss you always and forever.
