Sylvia Marie Freeman

Sylvia Marie Freeman, 66, of Upper Marlboro, MD, suddenly went home to be with the Lord on January 5, 2015. Born in Hagerstown, MD, on April 16, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Mary Lee (Conley) Kearse and William Kearse. She worked for years as a consultant with Verizon, from which she retired in 2008. She loved music, singing, reading and, above all else, spending time with her children and grandchildren. Beloved mother of Troy Freeman (Patty) of Charlotte, NC, Derrick Freeman (Kalton) of Waldorf, MD, Eric Freeman (Kathy) of Bryans Road, MD and Reba McGinnis (Wendell, III) of Bowie, MD; dear sister of the late Earl Dixon of Washington, DC, Janie Todman of Brooklyn, NY, William Kearse of Largo, MD, Gertrude Henson of Hagerstown, MD; devoted grandmother of Tyramis Ellis of Huntsville, AL, Kara Foster of Waldorf, MD, Matthew Freeman Ellis of Atlanta, GA, Kevin Freeman of Charlotte, NC, Taylor Freeman of Bryans Road, MD, Shelby Rose of Bryans Road, MD, Kobe Ellis of Bryans Road, MD, Anissa McGinnis of Bowie, MD, and Camryn Freeman of Bryans Road, MD.
