Sylvia A. Maldonado Sylvia Ann Maldonado was born June 9, 1942 and died April 3, 2009. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a dedicated worker, working beyond retirement. She was an Excellent gardener and cook. She loved crossword puzzles and jigsaw puzzles. She was an enthusiastic fan of The Redskins, The Capitals and The Nationals. She was active in church, teaching the first grade family program and summer bible camp at St. Peter’s Catholic Church of Waldorf. She was also an avid bowler. Her last bowling feat was a score of 198. She is survived by her Sons: Mario Jr. (Sharon) Maldonado, Anthony (Sandra) Maldonado, James Maldonado, David Sr. (Nicole) Maldonado, Jeffrey (Misty) Maldonado; Daughters: Dianna (John) VanDerwerker, Rebecca (Michael) Conner; Sister, Agnes (Rusty) Crick; Brother, Edwin (Anna) Freeman; Grandchildren: David Maldonado, Jr., Joseph Ferguson, John Ferguson, Nicholas Maldonado, Mario Maldonado III, Mark Maldonado, Vincent Maldonado, Astrodon Jonstoni, Charli Maldonado, Caitlin Conner, Devin Conner, Alyssa Maldonado, Morgan Ferguson, Jessica Ferguson, Krystyn Maldonado, Dewi Brahms, Delani Norman, Shanna Vanderwerker, Ashley Simmons; Great Grandchildren: Mario Maldonado IV, Morgan Maldonado, Brenden Maldonado, Mark Maldonado, Cameron Maldonado, Bodhi Brahms, Miranda Maldonado, Tessa Norman, Ciara Norman, Erin Norman, Kaia Brahms. She was preceded in death by her husband Mario Maldonado Sr., her parents Melvin and Bernelda Freeman and her son Alan.
