Telesha "Tia" Bevonyl Duke age 19, of Camp Springs, MD gained her angel wings Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore City while surrounded by her family and many friends. She was born July 2, 1996 to Bernadette Brathwaite Duke and the late Carlton Duke in Georgetown, Guyana and migrated to the United States February, 2010. Telesha was a funny, smart, gregarious, competitive, tenacious and strong-willed teenager with great dreams, one of which was to become a pediatric physician. A 2014 graduate of Crossland High School; she also attended S2B International modeling school. She loved watching "Redskins" football, listening to music, dancing and reading. During the too short nineteen years of her life Telesha's presence in our life was a gift we will always be thankful for and cherish. Her presence brought a light to any room she entered and touched everyone she came across even in the briefest of interactions. She was the kind of young woman that anyone would be proud to call daughter, sister and friend. We will always remember her infectious smile and her loving caring personality. She leaves to mourn her loving mom Bernadette Duke of Camp Springs, MD; Devoted Sister, Shundel Stephenson (Sherwin) of Camp Springs, MD, brother Colin Mitchell of NY and Ibson Isaacs of Camp Springs, MD. Other siblings Nicola St John of Georgetown, Guyana Utif Skeete (Kelvin) of NY, Tessa Bennett (Carlos) of NY, Donnette Isaacs (Lawrence); Wayne Isaacs and Candacy Layne.
