Teresa “Terry” Elizabeth Whitehouse, 56 of Lothian, MD, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2020. Terry was born on September 29, 1963 in Washington, D.C. to Dorothy [Stevens] and Thomas Urich. A dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Terry worked tirelessly to help and support those she loved. Terry was married for 28 years to her loving husband Earl Morton Whitehouse, III. From that union, their cherished children Earl Morton IV and Brandon Allan were born. Later in life, Terry and Earl III welcomed their grandchild Kristy into their lives, raising her with love and compassion as their own daughter. Terry successfully worked in retail most of her life and was an assistant manager at Dollar General in Churchton, MD. She enthusiastically supported her family's activities including demolition derby, racing and going to Myrtle Beach, SC for family vacations. Some of Terry's favorite pass times were holding flea markets, working on crosswords and puzzles. She loved roses and was a life-long Elvis Presley fan. Preceding her in death are her parents and beloved son, Danny Griffin. Terry is survived by her husband, Earl and two sisters, Delores Callahan and Fran Brown. Cherishing her memory are her sons, Earl IV (Jasmine), Brandon (Gabi), and Chris Brown (Lindsey). She is also survived by her grandchildren Kristy, Brentley, Zander, Daxton, Kayla, Briana, Kyra, Sierra, Savannah, Bryan, Alyssa, Kayden, Aubrey and Liliana. Family invites friends to Lee Funeral Home Calvert, 8200 Jennifer Lane, Owings, MD 20736, on Monday, August 3 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm; with Funeral Services on Tuesday, August 4 at 11 am. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, 4111 Pennsylvania Avenue, Suitland, MD 20746. NEW GUIDELINES FOR ATTENDING VISITATION / SERVICES. - 50 to 75 people max at any given time in Funeral Home. - Limit visitation to 15 minutes in visitation room to allow for others to express their condolences. - Funeral Services in Chapel limited to 70 people with four (4) people per pew. - Masks and six foot social distancing still applies.
