Theresa Elizabeth Burns died on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at the age of 88.\nShe was born in Washington, DC on July 19, 1923, to Sylvester and Mary Helen Burns.\nShe is survived by her nephews, Daniel “Danny”, Robert “Buddy” and John “Jack” (Cande) Jarboe. She is predeceased by her parents - the late Sylvester Emmet Burns and Mary Ellen Muir; her brothers - James, John and Thomas Burns; sisters - Marie Jarboe, Helen Cason and Tinie La Caure. \n \nA Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at 10:00 am at Jesus the Divine Word Catholic Church, 885 Cox Road, Huntingtown, MD 20639.
