Thomas Alton Sita

Thomas Alton Sita, “Tomboy”, 29, of Huntingtown, MD, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2023. Thomas was born on August 24, 1993, to Thomas Andrew Sita and Cynthia Lee Sita, in Washington, DC.

He graduated from Calvert Country in June of 2015. He loved spending time with his family, watching the Redskins, singing and dancing along to High School Musical, and playing the Price is Right. He was well known for his big bright smile and infectious laugh that lit up the room and penetrated your heart.                                                                                                               

Thomas is survived by his parents, Thomas Sita and Cynthia Sita, his grandfather, Ralph Sita, his siblings Alexandra Sita, Christina Sita, Angela Rivas, Dominic Sita, Antonio Sita, and Giovanni Sita, and his nieces and nephew, Rosalina Rivas, Kylee DePriest, and Sonny Rivas.

Thomas is preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary M. Sita, his grandfather, Vernon Alton Horrell, and his grandmother, Virginia Watfy Horrell.

His beautiful life will be forever cherished. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and always remembered in their hearts.

The family will receive friends at Lee Funeral Home Calvert 8200 Jennifer Lane, Owings, MD 20736 on Thursday, March 9, 2023 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm, and 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held on March 10, 2023 at 10:30 am at Jesus the Good Shepherd 1601 W Mt. Harmony Road, Owings, MD 20736. Interment will follow at Jesus the Good Shepherd Cemetery.
