Thomas A. Stubbs Sr.

Thomas A. Stubbs Sr., 84, of Temple Hills, MD died Monday July 16, 2012 at Southern Maryland Hospital, Clinton, MD. Born in Shawneetown, IL he was a son of the late Harvey and Susan (Seaton) Stubbs. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force retiring with the rank of Major in 1972 having served in both Korea and Viet-Nam. He then taught school for 15 years at Camp Springs Christian School and for 5 years at Grace Brethren Christian School. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Camp Springs and the Henry Knoxfield Lodge #349 Masonic Lodge of Alexandria, VA. He leaves behind to cherish his memory a son Thomas A. Stubbs Jr. of Temple Hills, MD, a sister Marie Stubbs of Shawneetown, IL, a nephew Michael Sumy of Severn, MD, and a niece Sandra Russell of Carmi, IL.
