Thomas "Tommy" Edward Horstkamp

Thomas “Tommy” Edward Horstkamp of Huntingtown, MD, passed away peacefully at the age of 77. Annie Virginia [McCreary] and Nicholas W. Horstkamp received the most wonderful Christmas present on December 25, 1941, Thomas. Tommy met and married Elsie E. Paddy, the love of his life, and they just celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary. For many years, Tommy worked for mechanical contractors in the Upper Marlboro, MD area. He enjoyed his job and mowing grass, taking care of his property, gardening and cutting trees. He was an avid fan of the Washington Redskins, Nationals and Capitals. He enjoyed working on and driving his Corvette. Tommy was the beloved husband of Elsie Horstkamp, loving father of Robert Horstkamp (Karen) and Tammy Crescenze (Gary). He was the devoted grandfather of Samantha and James and the brother of James, Joseph, Robert, Donna, Debbie, Mary and Gerri. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson, Thomas, brother, Nicholas Horstkamp, III and sister Patricia Miller. Interment will follow at Southern Memorial Gardens, 10155 Ward Road, Dunkirk, MD 20754.
