Tina Mae Smallwood of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, departed this world on Saturday, February 12, 2022. Tina was born in Harrisonburg, Pennsylvania on May 27, 1963, to the late William Chester Adams Sr. and Leila Mae Adams-Jennings. She was educated in the Prince Georges County Public School System. She graduated from Bladensburg High School. Shortly after graduating, she began working for the Department of the Navy, and the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory located in Washington, D.C. She held the position as a Security Specialist. Tina took her duties and responsibilities very seriously due to the nature of protecting classified material for the United States of America. She later worked for J.C. Penny’s retail store in St. Charles County Shopping Center. She worked as a sales associate in the Home Goods Department for 10 years until March 2015. Tina is proceeded in death by her two children, Van Smallwood Jr. and Casey Smallwood, and brother Robert Jennings. She leaves to cherish her memories sisters, Goddess Joann Adams, Theresa Roberts (Gary), Peggy Adams, Darlene Mintz (Hercules), brothers James Christopher Adams (Lisa), and William Chetty Adams Jr. and a host of nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, cousins, and two best friends Brenda Burton and Sheila Glasgow.
