Treva S. Hunter

Treva S. Hunter, 87, of Fort Washington, Md died on Wednesday December 19, 2012 in Waldorf, MD. Born in Pittsburg, Kansas she was a daughter of the late Hearl H. and Cecil (Swanson) Scott. She was married to Samuel H. Hunter. They had just celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary on December 4, 2012. She had worked for the United States Air Force as a civilian secretary at Andrews Air Force Base retiring in 1981 after 31 years of service. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, reading, and volunteering at her church where she also served as historian. Along with her husband she is survived by three children, Scott Hunter (Kathy), Susan Khoury (Mike) and Craig Hunter (Karen), seven grandchildren, Jeffrey, Dean, and Stacie Hunter, Ryan and Alison Khoury, Matthew Hunter and Kristin Bloom, seven great grandchildren, Sydney, Jackson, Tate, and Ethan Hunter, William and Hunter Khoury, and Hunter Bloom, a sister Stella DuCharme (John), two brothers, Stuart Scott (Alice) and Richard Scott, along with many many nieces and nephews.
