Celebrating the Life of Troy D. Proctor
On April 13th, 2022, Troy Dominico Proctor was called home to the Lord. Troy was born June 24th, 1976, to the late Edward May and Grace May in Prince George’s County, MD.
Troy attended Frederick Douglass High school in Prince George’s County. Troy was a CDL driver and loved working on cars. He worked for several companies as a driver over the years in the Metropolitan area. He was a devoted father to his children, who he loved with all his heart. He always made each child feel known and special. He was raised up attending Mount Calvary Catholic church in Forestville. He was avid Washington Redskins football fan, attending games and cheering on his team. He loved to eat ribs, drink beer, and watch the game. He loved animals especially his pet and best friend Colt. He loved hanging out with his family, listening to music, and fishing. Troy enjoyed life and was a free spirit. He was often said to be the “life of the party”. His infectious smile and warm personality brighten up anyone’s day.
He leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Grace M. May, three daughters, Talia Proctor, Symone Proctor and Tamyran McNeill, and one son, Tyrenne McNeill and one grandson, Sonathan Proctor; three Brothers Melvin Proctor (Carol), Antonio Jenkins and Eddie May, two sisters, Zina May, Aprille (Anthony) Duncan; three aunts, Theresa (Sterling), Hazel Butler (Leroy), and Thelma Holland (Fred); three uncles, Paul Proctor, Marvin Proctor (Margaret) and Angelo May. Four nieces and one nephew. His special friend Barbara Harvey and host of relatives and friends. Troy is preceded in death by his father, Edward May and Grandparents, Horace and Della Proctor, and Johnny May and Lillian V. Nash.
