Tyrell Antonio Harris affectionately known to his family as “Tye” passed away suddenly on February 19, 2022, In Pyeongtaek, South Korea at the young age of 34. He leaves behind his lovely wife Min Gyeong Kim and his beautiful newborn daughter, Raimi Harris. Tye was born on November 19, 1987 to Keisha (Harris) Fitzgerald and Ricardo Nicholas at Greater Southeast Community Hospital in Washington, DC. Tye graduated from Bladensburg High School in June 2005 to later attend and graduate from Lincoln College of Technology in January 2006 with an Electrician Systems Technician Certificate. He enlisted into the US Air Force in March 2007, and served approximately 15 years on active duty, reaching the rank of Staff Sergeant. Tye grew up in Hyattsville, Maryland. He was a very quiet and self-reliant person. When he was a child, he was very quiet. However in his later years, he became more open and out-going around his family and friends. He wasn’t the kind of man to attract attention or do anything to stand out. He was simply a mellow and very low –keyed person. Tye was someone that you could always count on if you needed assistance. He loved to travel, explore different cuisines from different places around the world. He also enjoyed bike riding, exercising, and listening to diverse genres of music. Tye made genuine connection with people he met all over. He gave great advice and was well respected. On May 21, 202 he married Min Gyeong Kim and on January 20, 2022 they became parents of their first child, Raimi Harris, Tyrell is survived by his devoted wife Min Gyeong Kim; his lovely daughter, Raimi Harris; mother, Keisha Fitzgerald, father, Ricardo Nicholas; two sisters, Felicia and Sasha Nicholas; grandmother, Minnie Nicholas; grandfather, Bartha Campbell, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
