Valentine "Val" Joseph Wasielewski

Valentine “Val” J. Wasielewski, 84, passed away on September 10, 2019, at his home in Lusby, MD, after a short illiness with lung cancer. Mr. Wasielewski was born June 20, 1935 in Wilkes Barre, PA to Sophie and William Wasielewski. He later moved to the Washington, DC area where he met and married Barbara M. [Petrie] Wasielewski on June 18, 1960. He raised two children - Lisa and Billy, losing Billy in 1986. Val enjoyed family, friends and simply life. Family invites friends to Lee Funeral Home Calvert, 8200 Jennifer Lane, Owings, MD 20736 on Saturday, September 14 from 10 am until start of Funeral Services at 12 pm. Interment will follow at Maryland National Memorial Park, 3300 Baltimore Avenue, Laurel, MD 20707.
