Van Duvall, a life-long resident of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, passed away after a brief illness on October 10, 2021. Born in Washington DC on April 30, 1949, to Kathryn W. and Philip C. Duvall, he graduated from Frederick Douglass High School in 1967. He was an avid drag racer and car enthusiast. He managed the family business for over 50 years. He loved his family home, “Trumps Hill”, and spent most of his life researching and trying to restore it to its original state. Van was also a lifetime member of The Society of Mareen Duvall Descendants and very proud of his lineage. Preceded in death by both of his parents, Kathryn and Philip Duvall, he is survived by his son, Bryce (Beverly); sister Lynn Singley (Wayne) and grandsons David and Benjamin.
