On Sunday, July 12, 2020, Vera Teresa Paladino went to be with the Lord. She was born in Washington, D.C. on February 3, 1943, and was raised in Bladensburg, MD with her family. Teresa worked at the F.B.I. for many years and then as a supervisor for the United States Tax Courts where she retired. She loved to spend time with her family, especially taking them out to eat and eating ice cream. Teresa enjoyed her swimming pool on a warm sunny day and planting flowers. She also enjoyed going to the boardwalk and feeding the ducks. Another favorite pastime of hers was playing “Spider” on her computer. Teresa also enjoyed shopping and driving her little sports car. In addition, she was predeceased by her parents, Samuel and Ellen Paladino, and her daughter, Melinda “Candy” Haynes. Teresa was a loving mother to four children, Edwin O. Haynes, Jr. (Nicole Pack), Melinda “Candy” Haynes, Toia Middleton (John Jr.), and Tara Mothershead (Daryl Wills). She has four grandchildren, Melanie Middleton, Maximillian Middleton, Selena Best (Denzel), Layla Blake; and great-grandchild, Zayn Best. Samuel (brother) and Joyce (sister-in-law) Paladino; Linda (sister) and Richard (brother-in-law) Easterbrook.
