Allene Harris,\n \n on May 14, 2012 of Upper Marlboro, Md. Beloved wife of the Late Joseph Gilbert Harris, Sr. Loving mother of Joseph G. (Kathleen) Jr. and James M. (Christine) Harris. Devoted grandmother of Renee, Nicole, Sheila, Deborah, Raymond and Andrea. Also survived by fourteen great grandchildren and one brother Jack (Josephine) Mundy.\n \n Mrs. Harris worked as an office manager for Machinist, Inc with her late husband, one of the co-founders of the company. \n \n Born May 19, 1923 to the late George Woodson and Margaret Gable Mundy in Madison Run, Virginia. Mrs. Harris moved around often living in Baltimore, Washington DC, and District Hts., Ocean Pines, and Rose Haven, Md. and then Upper Marlboro, Md. Among all her activities she was most fond of Bowling, dancing with her late husband in a dance group and telling stories about her time spent on the farm with her grandmother during the depression era.
