Victoria Phillips, of Rockville, MD died unexpectedly on December 21, 2016 at the age of 70. Victoria was born in Antillo, Sicily to the late Domenico and Antonina Toscano. She immigrated to Washington DC in 1960 at the age of 14. She graduated from Anacostia High School, married and lived for her 3 beautiful children. She spent her career working as a civilian for the US Air Force primarily at Andrews Air Force Base. Victoria loved spending time with her 7 grandchildren baking cookies, taking walks to feed the ducks, and making their baby dolls clothes. Victoria was the beloved mother of Gina Phillips (Nick Pilatsky), of Frederick, MD, Donna Rogers (David Rogers) of Jackson, NJ, and Anthony Phillips of Germantown, MD. She was a dear sister to Domenico Toscano, Guy Toscano, Natale Toscano, Maddalena Leo, Atillio Toscano and the late Santa Smiroldo and Santi Toscano. And most importantly will be remembered as the loving Mimaw of Amanda Cuevas (Samuel Cuevas) of Puerto Rico, Melanie Hafner of Frederick, MD, Ian Hafner of Frederick, MD, Nicholas Pilatsky of Frederick, MD, Halie Rogers of Jackson, NJ, Johnny Rogers of Jackson, NJ, and Madison Phillips of Germantown, MD. Victoria will be deeply missed.
